Kristin & Erik, Engagement
When Kristin, a former classmate and a fellow photog, asked me to photograph her wedding I was ecstatic! That's quite an honor from my point of view and I'm super excited about photographing her wedding in just 2 short days!
We met at the site of the upcoming wedding to photograph Kristin and Erik. It's a beautiful bit of property in Uvalda, GA near the bride's home. When we first started shooting I could tell immediately just how in love this couple were with one another. They fell right into place comfortably with each other and I barely had to pose them at all. After about 5 minutes, the bottom fell out. We ran for shelter in a nearby building. While we waited I snapped a few shots of the couple waiting patiently for the rain to stop. After about 20 minutes we were all beginning to think we'd need to call it a day and try again later. Just when I was getting a little anxious, it stopped. As always, or in my opinion anyway, the rain had made the land sort of glow. We went right back to shooting regardless of the wetness everywhere.
I absolutely cannot wait to photograph Kristin and Erik's wedding this Saturday! I know that it will be beautiful and I can't wait to capture their love! Enjoy! <3
