Aaryn & Zack, March 19, 2016

It looked like rain and fog for this warm, spring day but somehow the rain stood back and the clouds let in just the right amount of light for a sweet and heart-warming event! Every detail down to the cookies were perfectly created and designed for Aaryn and Zack's special day!

Usually I have months and months to get to know my brides and grooms but this was a little last minute for me. Going into the wedding I had not met either the bride or the groom yet and had only spoken with Aaryn through texts and e-mails. I was a little nervous about the compatability but I have to say that after being greeted with such a warm friendly smile all of my worries were completely in vain. Not only was Aaryn one of the sweetest, most chill brides I've ever worked with, but she gave me full artistic reign over what I was photographing which is always extra fun!

And did I mention that this was the largest bridal party I have ever had the joy of photographing with 13 bridesmaids, 13 groomsmen, 2 flower girls, and 1 ring bearer! Holy guacamole batman! Definitely had to back up on those whole bridal party shots and it's a good thing I brought the 35 mm! The guys decided to play a little impromptu football right before the formal photos were taken and my awesome second shooter, Kristin, caught it on camera! After a super sweet ceremony and a yummy dinner, the couple and their friends and family danced the night away!

It was an honor to photograph this special occasion for this wonderful couple. These are a few of my favorite shots from the big day! Enjoy!

Big thanks to Kristin Spikes of Kristin Lee Photography for second shooting and doing an AMAZING job as always!
