The Skinner family and baby Beau

When Jenn first mentioned a newborn session I immediately had the notion to turn her down. But right after the word newborn was spoken, I heard a most elusive word, lifestyle. A lifestyle session is not posed, does not have props, and has a more documentary style to it. You simply let the subjects unfold in their natural surroundings and capture it as it happens. I have photographed this family 3 times now, including their wedding, and each time has been such a great positive experience. I knew this would be the same.

This session was broken up into 2 mini sessions, a regular lifestyle session and a milk-bath session. I couldn't be more pleased with how they came out and Beau and Maddie were perfect angels (even when crying). This has got to be one of my all-time favorite sessions and I hope to do more like this in the future!

These kids are SO beautiful and this family is so fun and sweet and laidback! Just my cup of tea. <3
